Blind residents of Syria’s ‘camp of light’ battle freezing winter without aid

A camp in Syria has been providing a comfortable refuge for people who are visually impaired.
It relies on support from non-governmental organisations (NGOs).
But, in the year since the fall of the Assad regime, many have diverted their resources.
For those in the camp, that’s meant no heating or electricity this winter.

Al Jazeera’s Osama Bin Javaid reports from the al-Nour camp for the blind in Sarmada, Idlib province, Syria.
